STOP: to leave the party and stop receiving messages (T-Mobile customers send EXIT)

BASH: to start chatting again and receiving messages on Sprint

PARTY: to start chatting again and receiving messages on Verizon Wireless

MORE: to start chatting again and receiving messages on T-Mobile

HELP: Sends you help info.

STOP: Gets you out of the Party and stops all messages from the Party.

You can register for ChatParty by sending a text with the word PARTY to 33433 (T-mobile customers text PRT to 33433). A reply message will take you through the brief set-up process to get your gender, age, and nickname.

 

How do I Party?

By mingling! You are put into a Party room with up to five other people, and you just start chatting! Send your messages to 33433 (or 24288, 83273) and it will be sent out to everyone else in the Party. When they reply, you'll see everything they have to say!

 

Can I see who's at the ChatParty?

Of course! Send in ROOM to 33433 (or 24288, 83273) to see a list of people at the Party with you.

 

How do I leave a party, and then chat again later?

To leave the party text STOP to 33433 (or 24288, 83273) and you'll stop receiving messages. Then, when you want to chat again, send PARTY to 33433 (or 24288, 83273) and you'll be back in the party!

 

For T-Mobile customers:

To leave the party text EXIT to 33433 and you'll stop receiving messages. Then, when you want to chat again, send MORE to 33433 and you'll be back in the party! Only send STOP if you want to quit ChatParty completely, as you will be billed again if you send in PRT before your monthly subscription is up.

 

Can I show people more about me in the ChatParty?

You will be automatically given a nickname identifying you in the Party, but you can easily change that to really get known. Send in NICK [your nickname] to change your nickname ex: NICK SUZI. Use a nickname that says something about you! Send in AGE [your age] to show your age ex: AGE 19.

 

Will my phone number remain private?

Your mobile number will only be used for us to identify you in our system and won't be passed on to any other ChatParty members.

 

What if I need help?

What information will you ask me for?

You may be asked for some personal but non-identifying information to complete your profile (i.e. age and gender). This information is not linked in any way to your personally identifiable information, for other members to see.

We gather demographic information (like your city of residence and/or age). We may share some of this information with our professional advisors or consultants for our own research purposes. However the information shared will be limited to non-personally identifying demographic information shared under cover of a confidentiality agreement.

We also collect your mobile phone number. This will be used only for internal purposes and will not be shared with third parties other than our professional advisors or consultants for our own research purposes.

How will this information be used and who has access to it?

The specific information we collect is not shared with other organizations and we will never release your personally identifiable information to an external organization without your prior consent except for the purposes of validating credit information and collecting debts, or unless we reasonably believe we are required to so by operation of law.

How long do you keep the information I've given you?

We keep the information you have given us for as long as you are either an active or inactive member of our product.

Can I change the information I have already given you?

You can change the information you have provided by following the directions for the product you are using found on this site or by contacting Customer Service. Any such request may also be made by contacting the Privacy Officer.

Do you monitor online behaviour?

Our members communicate with each other through private text messaging. While we do not, as a rule, moderate or monitor members' private exchanges, we reserve the right to do so if we suspect users of being under 18 or of using our service for the purpose of solicitation or any other violation of our terms of use or Privacy Statement. Member submissions that appear on the public area of the mobile service are moderated, and if necessary, we reserve the right to delete, remove, or not use any communication on a public area of the site.

Advertisement Policy

We do not have advertisers on our mobile products. Nor do we provide any customer information to advertisers for the purpose of lists or contacts.
